MOUSE






For this mouse, you will need the following materials



The circle sizer is optional. However, you can use it to keep all the shapes proportional. 
All the shapes are made with a 3 mm wide strip of paper of different lengths. 

To make the following shapes you will need the following colors: gray, red, white, black, blue, and yellow. 







HEAD
Roll a gray 25 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a teardrop. 

 

BODY
Roll a gray 46 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a teardrop.

 

HAND
Roll a gray 8 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a teardrop. 

 

FOOT
Roll a gray 5 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a teardrop. 

 

TAIL
Roll a gray 10 cm long strip into a loose scroll. 

 


HAT WITH POMPON


HAT
Roll a red 60 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a long triangle. 

POMPON
Roll a white 5 cm long strip into a tight circle.
Glue this circle to the top of point of the hat. 


PRESENT AND BOW

PRESENT
Glue a 7.5 cm yellow strip to the end of a 15 cm blue strip.
Roll the resulting 22.5 cm strip into a loose circle, starting from the blue end.
Shape it into a square. 


Take a white strip and glue it on top of and around the square.

 

Take another white strip and glue it on the opposite direction, forming a cross.
Trim all the excess paper.


Now proceed to make the bow. 

BOW
For the bow you will make 3 teardrops.
Roll a white 15 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a teardrop.
Make 2 more teardrops.
 Glue them together like the picture shows.


 Next


Glue the bow to the present. 


 


EYE
Glue a 2 cm white strip to the end of a 5 cm black strip.
Roll the resulting 7 cm strip into a tight circle, starting from the black end.


EAR
Roll a gray 5 cm long strip into a loose circle.
Shape it into a teardrop. 


 
 

 NOSE 


Roll a black 7.5 cm long strip into a tight circle.




 



ASSEMBLY

1. Glue the head to the body.
2. Glue the hand, foot, and tail into place.





 3. Glue the present to the backside of the hand as shown.
4.  Glue the nose.




 5. Glue the hat with the pompon to the head.
 6. Glue the eye to the head.



 7. Glue the ear on to the hat and the head.





 Congratulations you are finished!

Your final project will look like the pattern above.
