'PINE" CHRISTMAS GARLAND

Materials needed to make this "pine" garland:

You can make each the “link” for this garland using a quilling comb or without it.

Here is how you do each “link” using a quilling comb:

1. Take your strip and roll it on your comb

 2. Glue it at the end of the strip

 3. Take your strip off your comb and make the left loop

4. Now make the right loop

 5. Glue it and cut the excess strip

 This is the result:

 The finished "link" is approximately
 1.5 cm long

However, I prefer doing the "links" by hand. The reason being is that is easier for me.

1. Cut your paper into 8.5 cm long strips

2. Take your strip and bend down approximately 1 cm and make your center loop (you should have already used approximately 2 cm of your strip.)Glue the tip.

3. Then make the left loop and glue.

4. Finally make the right loop .Make sure that you glue the tip.

Your “link” is ready.

 Your finished "link" is approximately
1.5 cm long

Once you have the necessary number of links you glue them together in the following way:

Glue each "link" into each other by applying glue on the bottom loop and inserting the piece into the next loop.  See the picture.

To continue your garland make as many "links" as you need.
