RUDOLF THE RED-NOSED REINDEER





All the paper strips will be 3 mm wide but of different colors and lengths

These are all the pieces that you will need to make.


 
The picture shows the basic materials needed


HEAD

 

Roll a brown 90 cm long strip into a loose circle so that it has a 2 cm diameter (circle size 1)

 


Shape it into a teardrop. See picture above.



EARS


Roll two brown 12 cm long strips into loose circles.

Shape them into teardrops.


EYES

 

For each eye take a black 5.5 cm long strip and glue a white 3.5 cm long strip of paper to its end, making a 9 cm long strip. 


Roll this strip, starting from the black end, into a circle and then squeeze it to make an oval shape.



NOSE WITH RED BUTTON


NOSE

 

Roll a black 40 cm long strip of paper into a loose circle 1.3 cm in diameter, using circle size 3.

Shape the circle into a triangle.


RED BUTTON

 

Roll a red 6 cm long strip of paper into a tight circle.


Glue the red button to the nose according to the picture above.


ANTLERS


Cut two tan 3 cm strips of paper and several other of short lengths.


Glue the short strips to the long ones to make the antler shapes according to the picture above.


ASSEMBLY


1. Glue the nose with the red button to the head.


2. Glue the antlers


3. Glue the ears to each side of the head.


4. Glue the eyes.


Congratulations you are finished!

Your final project will look like the pattern at the beginning of this tutorial.
