Blue and yellow bird

Hello my friends and fellow Quillers!
Today’s bird was inspired by a picture that I found while surfing the internet. The original was made by Anna Amoui

I liked the bird so much that I decided to try to quill it myself. I changed the techniques that she used and this is my rendition.

First I printed the original picture and then I blew up the bird part. I quilled the different shapes and glued them onto the printed picture.

My project ended being an 8”x10” (20 cm x 25 cm) picture. I used all 1/8” (3 mm) wide strips of different lengths and colors.

Here are pictures of the process I followed

I hope that these pictures helped you.
