How to make two-colored wheatears to look like stripes. Cómo hacer "wheatears" de dos colorespara que parezcan rayas

 

 

         

Materials - Materiales :

• 2 different color quilling strips – any width you desire. I am using light blue and orange but you can use any 2 colors of your choice.  
• 2 tiras de colores diferentes – papel de filigrana del ancho que desee. Yo estoy utilizando azul claro y naranja, pero usted puede utilizar 2 colores de su elección

• Glue - pegamento

• Quilling comb  - peine para filigrana 

• With my method,  each color will have 2 loops but you can add more if you want.

• You will be turning your comb around every time that you go up or down to make the next loop. 
• • Usted girará su peine cada vez que vaya hacia arriba o hacia abajo para hacer el siguiente bucle

Step 1

 Start with the center loop.  Wind your paper around the middle 2 teeth of your quilling comb.

Put a dot of glue so that it stays in place.

Step 2
    Go to the next tooth up and wind around it.

 Step 3
As you come back, put a dot of glue in the center of your wheatear.

Step 4  Loop around the bottom tooth.

  Step 5 
After making 2 loops in the first color, as you come down, place a drop of glue in the center and cut the paper strip.

 Glue the second color.  I suggest doing it at the center.

Glue the next color  (first color again)

   Repeat steps 2-7 until you have as many loops as you need.

Continue making as many wheatears as your project calls for.
