Good morning my fellow Quillers!
Today
I want to introduce to you the newest addition to my quilled bird family.
I
saw this Indian Roller in one of the internet sites and fell in love with its majesty.
My
rendition is a 7.5”x5.5” (18 cm x 13.5 cm) bird.
I enjoyed making it because it
has my favorite technique: wheatears and … it was easy to do. I finished it in
only 2 days!
I enlarged the internet's picture to a 10"x8" (20 cm x 25 cm) size and then I glued the shapes on it.
Here you can see details of the different body parts as I quilled the shapes and then filled them in.
